Corrib Oil recently presented a cheque for €6247.60 to Western Alzheimers after a successful fundraising event in our West of Ireland stores. Across Galway, Mayo, Roscommon and Leitrim , Corrib Oil participated in the charity’s annual tea day on April 21st, with staff and customers supporting the event wholeheartedly. Majella Keane, Manager of the Ballyhaunis store, and her colleague Marie Caulfield presented the cheque to Caroline Boyle from Western Alzheimers.
Western Alzheimers is a charity that has been tirelessly working to improve the lives of individuals living with Alzheimers and dementia, as well as their families, since its inception. They offer essential services and support, including home care assistance, respite care, and support groups, to ensure those impacted by Alzheimer’s can live with dignity and enhanced quality of life.
Fundraising event: Western Alzheimer’s Annual Tea Day
The annual tea day is one of Western Alzheimers key fundraising events. People across the west come coming together to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while contributing to a vital cause. Corrib Oil took an active role in this year’s initiative, donating a percentage of their tea and coffee sales throughout the day to the charity.
