Warehouse Operative & Lube Delivery- Galway

We are looking for a Truck Delivery/Warehouse Operative to participate in our Lubricants Warehouse operations and activities. The dual role will require assisting our full-time delivery person delivering product to Corrib Oil customers including Corrib Oil Service Stations and Depots.  The position will also involve the role of Warehouse Operative to include storing materials, pick and pack deliveries. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Delivery of Lubricating Oil and associated products to Corrib Oil Customers, Corrib Oil Service Stations and Corrib Oil Depots.
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, and label).
  • Organise and maintain stocks.
  • Inspect products for defects and damages notifying order team and Lubricants Manager.
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) and place incoming stock items appropriately.
  • Receipt in all supplier orders onto Corrib Oil system.
  • Email copy of all deliveries to Lube Manager (Michael Dorey) and Stock Control (Danny Mahon)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for month end stock counts.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
  • Report any discrepancies, minimum stock controls and damaged product.
  • Ensure all stock movement (Customers Direct/Transfers to Depots etc) have correct paperwork.
  • Complete monthly stock takes, Update CODAS, follow up queries. Spot checks may be required during course of working month on fast moving grades (ahead of stock take).
  • Receipt in delivery dockets (Suppliers)
  • Update depot transfers to CODAS
  • Keep warehouse maintained, clean and organised daily.
  • Daily Forklift/Truck checks. Ensure that Corrib Lube Trucks are checked daily, any issues are flagged and reported.  Any issues raised should be addressed immediately in cooperation with Corrib Transport Manager.
  • Weekly checks of Racking. Notify Lubricants Manager of any damage identified.
  • Ensure Corrib Lubricants Trucks are clean both inside and out.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimise warehousing procedures.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Any other duties that are deemed a requirement for the role.

 

Requirements

  • Full Truck Licence (C Licence)
  • Minimum 2 years delivery experience
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative
  • Proficiency in inventory software and systems
  • Good organisational and Time Management skills
  • Current Forklift Licence.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Must be trained in Manual Handling.
  • Ability to use IT Systems (Update CODAS re Invoicing; Transfers and receipts)
