Corrib Oil are looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to join our team covering the Midlands Region (based in Athlone/Roscommon/Longford)

Reporting to the Area Manager the successful candidate will be providing professional sales, customer service and office administration cover as part of the Oil Distribution Team


  • Travel throughout our midland oil distribution depots to provide cover during holiday or busy periods as required.
  • Provide a friendly and positive customer service by telephone, in order to attract sales and ensure repeat business.
  • Processing oil orders and payments.
  • Ability to cover the full range of duties within the depot, i.e. pumps, daily inputting, customer service, stock reconciliation.
  • Work with the depot staff to ensure that all invoicing is processed daily.
  • Provide information to managers on bad debts/credit control.
  • Process data using CODAS and provide information as required to Managers and Head Office.
  • General Customer Queries.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

    Key Skills/Knowledge/Requirements for the role:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers to achieve desired results.
  • Able to work with and as part of a team including managers, sales representatives and drivers.
  • Knowledge of CODAS and CDH an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word in an effective manner for the role.
  • Able to meet deadlines when required.
  • Available to work weekends if required.
  • A Full Clean Driving Licence is required.
